At Shews Orchard Farm Store, we offer 30 apple varieties, fresh apple cider, 7 plum varietes, pears, peaches, and cherries, each in it's own season, August to January. We are open daylight till dark, 7 days a week, from September 1 to December 1. Other months, it is best to make an appointment.

Available year round are all cuts of lean Grass-fed Black Angus Beef & Lamb, homepun yarn, tanned sheepskins, homemade jams & jellies (13 kinds), applebutter, honey, vinegar, and 3 kinds of honey mustard.

Available at our farm store, but produced on our Amish neighbor's farms are maple syrup, sorghum molasses, popcorn, and woven rag rugs.

Our secluded Rustic Vacation Cabin is available for rent year round, situated in a grove of trees overlooking our bass pond, on the back side of our farm.

We are also a vendor year round on Saturdays at the Athens Farmers Market on East State Street from 10:00am-1:00pm. And at the Athens Farmers Market Wednesdays 10:00am-1:00pm from August to December. And at the McConnelsville Farmers Market on Fridays 4:00-6:00pm from April through October.

We are also the home of the 5 piece Back Porch Swing Band, featuring the best in Western Swing Music, with 3 time Ohio State fiddle champ Adam Jackson, vocalist Alana Lupardus, and guitarist Pete Shew, upright bassist Dan Liebtag, & Zeke Hutchison on mandolin.
